Today is the day that many people have been waiting for. The NFL Super bowl is coming today at 6.30. The game will be played and either the New York Giants or the New England Patriots will be crowned as Super bowl champions. It will be an exciting day.
We plan to have a little party of our own as we watch the game. We have some food for the event as well as some family and friends coming over to watch the game. I am sure we will have a great time.

When she insisted that we rent the movie, Country Strong, I was ready to not like it. But since it was important to her, I agreed and figured that if it was really bad I would just fall asleep and miss most of it anyway. Although I do like country music, I’m not a big fan of any of the stars and the idea of a movie based on the country music business just didn’t trip my trigger.
So, to be a good guy and keep the peace, we rented it and took it home last night. I wanted to watch the hockey game, but it wasn’t a good game anyway. I put the game on the TV in the bedroom and we put the movie on in the living room. I stretched out on the couch and was ready for an early night while she watched Gwyneth Paltrow and Tim McGraw sing and cry.
So, to my surprise, it was a pretty good movie. My advice to the guys, if your little lady wants to rent this movie, don’t make a big deal about it being a chick flick. It’s an OK movie.

Wasn’t it about a year ago that all the TVs had to be digital or they quit working? I know that three of the four TVs in my house were so old that they were not digital. But they still worked great and now I have to pay extra for a converter or for a TV service provider to be able to use my television sets.
So, that got me motivated to check into other ways to watch TV. Most of the alternatives involve spending at least one hundred dollars, most require a lot more than that. I know that I can just get rid of the old TVs and buy new ones, and that’s not cheap anymore, but I’m probably going to go with Direct TV and keep my old sets as long as they get good reception and give me a good picture.
My friends down in Louisiana have done nothing but rave about Satellite TV since they signed up for it last year. They have a TV in every room in their house and are serious about several shows that they watch every week. They are such TV addicts that they plan their social lives around the TV programming for each night.

Grab a Molson, put on the lucky sweater, flip on the High Definition direct TV, it’s Jackets time! Hockey season brings great things to even the most casual fans. The game is exciting, violent, and beautiful all at once, making this one of the most wonderful times of the year.
For those of us who love our Columbus Blue Jackets, we’re hoping this is the beginning of the end of all the disappointment. After a successful bid to get into the playoffs for the first time in franchise history two seasons ago, last season was less than stellar. This year brings a new coach, fresh faces, and hopefully a new attitude and work ethic.
Time for our young captain, Rick Nash to lead us to bigger and better things. While we’ll be leaning on a young goalie, Steve Mason, the talent is there. Now whether it meshes with the new coach, and the new system is yet to be seen. Here’s to hoping for a winning record against the Predators, domination of the Red Wings, and the start of a dynasty. Because it’s November, and it’s JACKETS TIME!

Many people believe that life is one long drudgery. Waking up in the morning, going to work, and then coming home to start the whole process over. I believe that it doesn’t have to be that way. I know there are many things we can do in order to break up the dull old routine. One of these things is taking a vacation.
Whenever I am planning a vacation, there is one place that has the things I want. I know I’ll be glad when I can take advantage of Myrtle Beach Golf. I love the game and like to play whenever possible. When I found out about how easy it was to schedule a tee time as well as my lodgings, I knew that one of the Myrtle Beach Golf Packages were for me.
Whenever we go to Myrtle Beach, there is one course I always like to visit. It’s called King’s North and was designed by Arnold Palmer. Every one of my Myrtle Beach Golf Vacations has included this course and I have always had a blast! It has the beautiful scenery as well as a challenge for the golfing mind.
If anyone else out there is interested, it’s easy to find information on the subject. All you need to do is type in Golf Myrtle Beach into your computer and you can find out all about this wonderful area. Who knows? I might even see you out there on the course!
