Every time my parents come to visit, they are amazed by the technology I have in my house. Although they have cable and internet in their home, the idea that I can use a Bronx T1 to work from home and not go in to the office every day is a totally foreign concept. They still poke their head inside my office to see who is talking when I am on a teleconference and just shake their heads in amazement. I personally love the flexibility being able to work from home affords me. If I had to go into and office every day I would have to take the day off any time they come to visit. Being able to work from home allows me to pop in to meetings or on conference calls while they go for a walk or pick up supper; then we can pick right back up where we left off! As amazing as they find it, I know they appreciate it as much as I do and for the same reasons!

The parade was awesome and the kids loved it. I had a great time myself as it’s been a while since I have attended a parade. The drums played and the old cars went by as we cheered. It was a wonderful day over all.

The last time I visited Heidi I noticed a few things that she may need. She was definitely suffering from a shortage of Nursery Furniture. I thought I could rectify that situation easily and did so by ordering a new changing table. I believe she will get plenty of use out of that. Since she would now have two kids to worry about, I thought that buying the kids some Activity Sets would keep them busy and give her a break now and then.

Since we are a family that enjoys our activities, I thought that I would continue the tradition by purchasing some Toys and Games for the boys. I know the importance of keeping the kids busy and this would be a great way to do it. I love watching our family grow and am glad to be a part of it. That’s what life is all about and it’s fine by me!

I just wanted to send out a reminder to all parents to keep a close eye on their children. Temptation to drink can be strong and can lead to disaster. I think that talking about the issue with your children is the best way to ensure that your child will think about his or her actions. Lets all work toward keeping tragedy at bay!

Without a car, we knew it would be hard for her to get around. That’s why we try to help her by suggesting ways to do things online. One thing that has been successful is her use of an online service to get Chemistry help. She has had a rough time with that subject and needed tutoring. I wanted to get something that I know every kid would love. That’s why the first thing I wanted to get was a stuffed animal from jellycat. They have some of the best animals available and the quality is top-notch. Since most kids take their animals to bed with them, I thought that getting them a nice warm blanket would be a good idea. When I saw the blankets by barefoot dreams, I knew I would have to have one of those as well.

Being as that I am also a practical person, I pondered the fact that many kids don’t have enough clothes to wear. I found some little shirts that were made by appaman that would be a great gift for any toddler. I think I made some great gift choices and I can’t wait to hear about the kids who get to enjoy them. There are times when I am proud to help out a neighbor and this is one of those times!!

One of the first items that I thought would be good to get was one of those Jogging Strollers. I know how much fun it is to get out of the house and being able to take your baby along is pretty cool. It’s not always easy to find time to exercise and this is a great way to do it.

I continued to look around to see what else I could find. Another item I thought they could use was Booster Seats. I remember the tough time I had with my kids when they couldn’t reach the table. They come in handy especially when you go out to eat. Not every restaurant has them and it’s good to be prepared.

I was just about to put in my order when I ran across something else I liked. There was a wide variety of Baby Walkers available and I thought I might get one of them. There is nothing like a good toy to keep baby busy for awhile and this is a great one. It also can help your child develop the skills they need to become good walkers. I know my niece will be thrilled when she gets this years presents!

Many times I will turn for help from a great source; the internet. I know there are many sites out there and I was able to find one that offered to have a Statistics tutor get her the help she needed. I liked the fact that the service could be done from home and all she needed was a computer. She’s always had one and so that was no problem.
