One thing I was noticing the other day was that everyone seems to have a particular thing to wear at work. For me, I must wear a suit and tie on most days, but sometimes I can be more casual. I was recently at a hospital and noticed that there were many different uniforms there. The doctors had there own uniforms and the nurses had theirs as well. Many of the doctors and nurses had different head gear on. It sparked a conversation between me and a nurse who worked there.
She told me that every doctor and nurse was responsible for buying their uniforms. Since everyone is always trying to save money, many of them looked for where to buy cheap scrubs. The nurse also informed me that many of them got their nurse uniforms from a site called blueskyscrubs.com. This site offered great deals and a variety of styles to fit everyone.
It was an interesting conversation and left me wondering about how wearing uniforms got started. There are uniforms for police and firefighters as well as many other trades. I guess that showing the world where you work and what you do gives people an instant impression of who you are. I wish I had a uniform that was a bit more interesting than a suit and tie.

While most people believe that the giant oil company BP has finally put an end to its troubles by capping the well, others are not so sure. Investors in the company worry that the pipe is seeping oil into the bedrock and that the problem is not over. The pressure of the pipe is being monitored, but is still not at the levels desired. Trading on Wall Street reflects these worries.
Stocks are down lately and speculation is running ramped on the company’s future. For now, the oil is stopped but authorities may force the company to reopen the well in order to prevent the larger problem of seepage. For now, all fingers are crossed that the disaster is over and the cleanup can begin.

It seems that whenever I look at the news, it is always bad. There is always something happening to someone all the time. I have been watching the local news lately and found that there have been a number of break-ins in and around our neighborhood. This has got me to thinking more about the security of my home. I have many objects that are precious to me and the thought of losing them is devastating.
I was doing some research about the subject online and found a lot of information that was helpful. One place that was a good source was the consumer reports. They give a list of the most common problems that homeowners face. I reviewed the list and corrected a few of the problems we had myself. I also noticed that they recommended an alarm system to help deter criminals.
I found myself searching around for the best places to get such a system. I reviewed many sites and found two that I liked. One was called http://www.broadviewsecurity.com/ and the other was Home Security Team. I liked these sites the best and am thinking of installing some security in my home. I think it will be worth the little extra effort to ensure that my family and valuables are safe.

With the oil in the gulf still spewing, the CEO of BP has decided to take some time off to attend a yacht race in England. There are many Americans who are really unhappy with this decision and they are letting the CEO know how they feel. The internet is full of people who are posting their opinions online about the matter.
The race he is attending is being held near the Isle of Wight. The course is around 50 nautical miles long and attracts wealthy yacht owners from all over the world. The CEO has entered his own boat named “Bob” and is watching with interest in the outcome. I wish he was as interested in the outcome of the oil from the gulf!
