The other day I went to the hardware store. I was looking for several items and I was very busy. It just happened that I received a phone call while I was shopping and I had to stop and get a number out of my wallet. It turns out that I inadvertently laid my wallet down on some boxes in the isle and walked away.
Needless to say, I discovered the error in short order when I went to pay the bill. I retraced my steps and was very lucky to find the missing wallet. I don’t know what I would have done if I had actually lost it. My whole life is in my wallet and it would have taken many hours to replace all the cards inside. I must be more careful in the future.

Since the colder weather is coming on soon, I thought I would try to do some things around the house to protect the things I have. I moved what I could indoors, but there is not enough room for everything. That’s why I decided that I needed to find a good way to keep my things out of the weather. I think I found the answer on the internet.
I ran across a site that had all kinds of tarps for sale. They had just about every kind of tarp I could think of and a few more that I never heard of. I was immediately interested in getting a truck tarp. I know that putting a tarp on my old truck would help it survive the bitter snow and rain we get in this area. I was really interested and so I kept on looking at the items they had for sale.
Since we have a fireplace, it seems obvious that we have a lot of firewood. I wanted to find a way to keep it dry and I think that canvas tarps are the answer. I thought that if I could put some canvas tarps over the wood it would not get snowed or rained on. All in all, I am happy with the decision I have made to protect my investments.

Few people will tell you they love their jobs. It is not a common answer. Most people say “It pays the bills” or “It’s a job”, but my husband loves his job. I am very happy he has found something he loves, but it also means he works a lot. His job is sometimes demanding and he will be at the office until the late hours of the night. I finally asked him to look into getting a security system from all Home Security. It wasn’t that I was mad he didn’t come home at 5 everyday. It was that I needed to feel safe, when he wasn’t home. After a brief discussion, he agreed that it was not a bad idea. While he loves his job, he also loves making sure I feel safe and that I am happy. He has always made that his first priority. He is a great husband and I am so lucky to have such a wonderful guy that loves me and loves his job. I am not sure I could ask for anything more.

There are many things that are interesting to me in this world. One thing I like is the fact that technology has come so far. Its funny how my computer works or how a tiny device in your home can detect a fire. This was brought to life for me after I talked to my cousin who lives in Arkansas. He had a major mishap in his home but was saved by technology.
My cousin is a smoker. The family has tried numerous times to get him to quit, but to no avail. His habit finally caught up to him when he left for work one day and received a call from his home security russellville company. It turns out that one of his cigarettes started a small fire in his bedroom. The whole house was filled with smoke when the fire department arrived.
The house was saved due to the alarm he had installed. Luckily, no-one was hurt and little damage was done. Needless to say, he is thinking twice about his smoking habits. I was pondering how technology is all around us while I was watching my Direct TV the other day. It sure is nice to live in this day and age where things are complicated and yet simple.

My sister just finished a two week ordeal with her in-laws visiting their home in Austin. She always has her hands full when they come to visit and all I can say is, before you agree to marry someone, make sure you can deal with that person’s parents or your life will be much harder in the long run.
My sister and her husband both work and have spent many long hours renovating their home after they moved there in 2002. They bought a small, older house that needed major repairs and they enjoyed working on it together. Four years ago I went out there to help them do some rewiring of the electrical systems and was very impressed with the work they’ve done and their ambitious remodeling plans.
The main complaint my sister has about the lengthy visits is that they always bring their two miniature poodles with them. The mother-in-law claims they are like her babies and she takes them everywhere she goes. I don’t think those dogs have ever seen the inside of a kennel. But the little darling manage to pee on the carpet and the furniture when they visit, and that drives my poor sister completely mad.
Now that the in-laws are on their way home, she has had to use the professional cleaning services of http://www.thesteamteam.com/austin-cleaning-services/upholstery.shtml to thoroughly clean her antique sofa and other upholstered furniture that the dogs peed on during their visit.
You can’t just wipe off furniture that has been peed on repeatedly. You need a professional to handle stain and odor removal Austin and have any chance of your carpets and furniture being odor-free.
