There are a few times in life when you get to do something really special. I had this chance recently and I feel great about. It was for a program called birthday kids and it is special. The idea is that people buy birthday gifts for kids who may not get any otherwise. I liked the idea and immediately signed up. I started with one of my favorite sites for toys and its called loulouscorner.com.

I wanted to get something that I know every kid would love. That’s why the first thing I wanted to get was a stuffed animal from jellycat. They have some of the best animals available and the quality is top-notch. Since most kids take their animals to bed with them, I thought that getting them a nice warm blanket would be a good idea. When I saw the blankets by barefoot dreams, I knew I would have to have one of those as well.

Being as that I am also a practical person, I pondered the fact that many kids don’t have enough clothes to wear. I found some little shirts that were made by appaman that would be a great gift for any toddler. I think I made some great gift choices and I can’t wait to hear about the kids who get to enjoy them. There are times when I am proud to help out a neighbor and this is one of those times!!

There are many good things about having a big family. One thing that I like is that there is always something going on. This week will mark a birthday for my niece’s baby. She will be one years old on Thursday. I knew I had to get her a gift and so I went online to find one. I turned to one of my favorite sites called shopwiki.com.

One of the first items that I thought would be good to get was one of those Jogging Strollers. I know how much fun it is to get out of the house and being able to take your baby along is pretty cool. It’s not always easy to find time to exercise and this is a great way to do it.

I continued to look around to see what else I could find. Another item I thought they could use was Booster Seats. I remember the tough time I had with my kids when they couldn’t reach the table. They come in handy especially when you go out to eat. Not every restaurant has them and it’s good to be prepared.

I was just about to put in my order when I ran across something else I liked. There was a wide variety of Baby Walkers available and I thought I might get one of them. There is nothing like a good toy to keep baby busy for awhile and this is a great one. It also can help your child develop the skills they need to become good walkers. I know my niece will be thrilled when she gets this years presents!

Every day we are often forced to make difficult decisions. One decision that can be very tough is buying a new or used car. That’s why it’s important to do your research and start early if possible. It’s a decision you will be stuck with for a longtime. I was helping my friend Bob look for a new car. We decided to use a site called thecarconnection.com to help us find the information we needed.

I wanted to give a brief overview of some of the vehicles we thought were best for him. One car we both really liked was the ford fusion. It’s a hybrid car and won an Edmunds.com consumer poll for the best hybrid. While we both liked it, Bob has very different interests in the car he wants. That’s why we also looked at the hummer h3. There are two other cars that we took a look at and they are both really nice. The first is the Porsche 911 carrera and the second was a Hyundai sonata. The Porsche is a beautiful car and is every man’s dream. While Bob wanted it badly, his wife might not have appreciated it as much. The sonata was a different story. Bob had his eye on this car for awhile and is very close to purchasing one. I’ll let you all know how which way it goes.

Everybody has their own particular strengths and weaknesses, especially when it comes to difficult subjects at school. I was always good in English class and never had a problem, but when it came to math, that was something else. It seems that my daughter is the same way and she struggles with the same subject; math. When she came home needing Statistics help, I knew we had a problem.

Many times I will turn for help from a great source; the internet. I know there are many sites out there and I was able to find one that offered to have a Statistics tutor get her the help she needed. I liked the fact that the service could be done from home and all she needed was a computer. She’s always had one and so that was no problem. The service makes available a one on one tutor and that made all the difference.

My daughter was able to take advantage of the help she received and is now doing very well in school. She is no longer afraid to tackle even the toughest Statistics problems. I am so proud of her and tell everyone so. The best part is that now she may be able to teach her children math and rid our family of one of its negative traits.
