One thing that is certain in life is that neighbors can be nosy. It seems that wherever I have lived, there is always someone who wants to put their two cents in. This recently happened to me when I wanted to install a satellite dish on my home. One particular neighbor tried to tell me that it was against the rules. I went online and found some information under the title of government dish rules. The rules clearly state that I have every right to have a dish installed at my house. I sent him a copy of the results.
The argument we were having was quickly settled after that and I knew I was only a few steps away from receiving Direct TV by DirectSatTV. After all, I wanted the best TV channels I could get for my home. My wife and I have long been believers in satellite TV. The cable companies just can’t compare when it comes to high definition programming and low prices. I also receive the best in sports programming.
The trick is that you can get Direct TV packages by DirectSatTV and can be assured that you are getting a great value for your money. I know I will be receiving the best channels and have a large selection of sports and movies to choose from. I know that my neighbor will be jealous when he finds out that my TV is so much better than his. I wouldn’t be surprised if one day he has a satellite dish installed onto his home. I am sure I’ll have a good laugh at that!

There has been a lot of talk about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The economic effects on the fishing industry are now becoming ever more apparent. People are losing their jobs as the fishermen are no longer able to fish due to the concerns of the effects of oil on the fish. Oystermen are having these same problems.
One business that is suffering is the P&J Oyster Company. They recently laid off 11 full time workers now that there are no oysters being brought in to shuck. The company has been in business for 134 years and is struggling to stay afloat. These are the kind of stories that bring home the true reality of the disaster.

The summer will be here soon and that means that many young people will have a lot of time on their hands. The warm summer nights are also conductive to late night outings. This combination can add up to trouble for teens who may feel the need to drink at parties or with friends.
I just wanted to send out a reminder to all parents to keep a close eye on their children. Temptation to drink can be strong and can lead to disaster. I think that talking about the issue with your children is the best way to ensure that your child will think about his or her actions. Lets all work toward keeping tragedy at bay!

It seems that the economy may be starting to turn around. A recent report showed that we gained 162,000 jobs in the month of March. This is really good news and there are many who believe this is a sign that we are coming out of the slump we were in. The stock market seems to be rallying and investors are coming back.
Another good aspect is that it will be summer time soon. This always seems to bring out more jobs. The lawnmowers and lifeguards will have work, even if it’s just for the summer, but its work all the same. I am hoping we can get over this crisis and begin to pay off our debts!
