The country of Iran has long wanted nuclear technology. The international sanctions that have blocked its way are working only to an extant. The Russian government helped Iran build a nuclear power plant and it is ready for action. They will be loading the first fuel rods into the reactor soon.

The action has caused a stir in the international community as many are afraid that Iran has other than peaceful intents for the uranium that is used. The Iranians counter that they only have peaceful intentions. I hope that the world will keep a close eye on their actions.
