Scientist were recently shocked to find that life endures on earth in the strangest places. After drilling a hole 600 feet deep under the Antarctic ice sheet, they found a surprise. The first surprise was a three inch shrimp called a Lyssianasid amphipod. The next surprise was a piece of a tentacle believed to be part of a one- foot long jellyfish.

The animals seem to defy scientist’s notions that nothing could survive in this area. There is no light and no known food sources. The hole was more than 12 miles from open sea leading to speculation that they couldn’t have swum there. This also opens up the possibility of life on other planets as some conditions would be the same there as here.

There has been much speculation about when and if Tiger Woods will return to golf. Many of those who follow the game have been awaiting his return for awhile. Tiger stopped playing after it was revealed that he had an affair on his wife. For those who are his fans, there may be good news soon.

Since Tiger has returned from family therapy, he has started practicing again. There are rumors that he may return in time to play the Masters at Augusta National in April. While he has refused to speak on the subject, sources close to him are hinting at the possibility. The future will tell if his return goes well or not.

One thing I like about my job is that I have a lot of leeway when it comes to providing for my employees. The main office almost always approves any request I make as long as it is reasonable. While I don’t want to abuse this trust, I do take advantage of the offer when I feel it will benefit the company as a whole.
