With the tax season coming up soon, there are many people who are beginning to get prepared. Since good ole Uncle Sam needs all the money he can get, it’s up to taxpayers to ensure that they don’t overpay. With this in mind, there are a few things you should know before doing your taxes. I have a few tips for you.
There have been multiple changes in this year’s tax code that could benefit you. I will name a few that you may want to check into. Home purchases are a major source of tax breaks. If you have purchased a home recently, make sure you check it out. Other areas where you may save a buck or two include car purchases, charitable giving, and capital loss carryovers. Good luck with figuring it all out!!
