While the relief effort in Haiti has had its ups and downs, there is still a lot of good going on. That’s why it’s discouraging to find out that some hospitals in Haiti are charging patients for medical care. The U.N. found out about this and let Haitian hospitals know that it will not stand for it. Health care in Haiti was declared free shortly after the earthquake on January 12.
Reports that some hospitals were charging money for care outraged the U.N. that has donated millions for free medical supplies. They also stated that any hospital charging for services will be cut off. I am glad to hear that the U.N. is standing up for what’s right. Hoorah for the U.N!

At least twice a month and sometimes maybe more, I hit the road in order to fulfill my duties for my employer. I don’t mind traveling, but it can be a bit boring sitting around a hotel room at night. That’s why I like to take advantage of the time I have by going out and enjoying the city I’m in. I recently was able to purchase GENESEE THEATRE TICKETS so that I could enjoy a great concert. I had a great time and had much to talk about the next day.
Another time I was able to visit the great city of Boston. I have been there several times and have always enjoyed it. The last time I went I was glad to find that Boston Opera House Tickets were available. I took full advantage of that and was impressed by that historic theatre. The show was pretty awesome and I enjoyed myself immensely. Who would have thought that opera could be so good?
There are still some cities that I have yet to visit. One of these is Los Angeles. That didn’t stop me from taking some enjoyment from that city as I was able to send my niece and her husband some Los Angeles Lakers Tickets. They were able to see the game and to root on their local team. I can’t wait to be on the road again as I never know what great event I will see!

I must say congratulations to the New Orleans Saints football team for winning their first ever Super Bowl victory. The win came against the Indianapolis Colts in front of a record television crowd of 106.5 million viewers. The Saints won the game with a final score of 31-17. Winning quarterback Drew Brees took the MVP trophy home.
The game was hard fought and fair. I was glad to see that there were few penalties called and the game went fairly quickly. The half-time show was excellent as The Who gave a tremendous performance in a medley of their many hit songs. All in all, it was a really good game.
