I was surprised to hear today that a giant Tuna fish could bring so much money. A Tuna that was caught off the coast of Japan sold for an amazing $177,000 thousand dollars at a fish market in Japan. It took three giant Sushi Chains to come up with funds to buy the fish. The fish are usually auctioned off to the highest bidders who then serve the meat to anxious customers.
The country of Japan is by far the largest consumer of raw fish. Their market has driven up prices while at the same time has caused some concern about the future stocks of the fish who live in the ocean. Environmentalists are calling for tougher rules on the amount of fish that can be caught in order to ensure the survival of the species.

The winter weather has been difficult to deal with so far. The recent storm we had took off a few shingles from our roof and we had to have them replaced. We also had a siding issue and had to do some temporary fixes to get to next summer. Another item that was a victim of the weather was our mail boxes. We have two, one for us and one for Tom who rents our basement room. They were both getting old and now they are falling apart.
I wanted to replace them as soon as possible and so I went online to see if there were any there. I didn’t want to chase all around town looking for stores that sold Mailboxes. It only took a minute before I ran across a site called mailboxixchange.com that had a wide variety of Residential Mailboxes to choose from. I went and got my wife so that we could select one together.
We sat in front of the computer and went through our usual deal. After a fair amount of discussion and argument, we finally agreed on two of the boxes we liked. So in the end, I picked one and she picked one. Poor Tom was left out of the discussion and so he will have to live with our decision. Anyway, all is well that ends well and we now have two new boxes out in front of our house!
