It just so happens that my neighbor ordered too much mulch. He had a great big delivery of it in his driveway. The pile of mulch was huge and I knew there was no way he could use it all. I am always good for taking advantage of a situation when I can and accordingly struck up a casual conversation with him.
In the end, I came away with a fair amount of free mulch. I got my wheelbarrow and was soon busy making trips back and forth to my house. I had enough to do the entire front and back gardens and had a little left for the sides. It always makes my day to get something for free. It was a good day!!
