One thing I was reading about in the paper was the number of cars that are stolen every year. It comes out to the unbelievable number of about one million a year. The funny part is that it’s not always the fancy expensive cars that are stolen; it’s the every cat car that’s in demand.

It seems that the older cars are more vulnerable to theft as they have fewer theft deterrent devices. Their parts are also readily saleable to the black market. I hope that everyone will learn to take the extra precautions needed and lock up their cars.
