There was a break in at one of the houses down the street in our neighborhood. The house has been empty for some time, but it’s scary to think that someone may have been home when it happened. I went online and found a few tips for keeping your home secure and I thought I would share them with you.
Of course keeping your home locked is important. Check that all the doors and windows are locked as a matter of course. Make sure your locks are dead bolts and are solid. Another thing to do is to keep your home well lit. Adding a few security lights is always a good idea. Make sure your neighbors are aware of the fact that no one is home if you go on vacation and can keep an eye on the place. I hope these tips will be useful to you.
