My neighbor has invested in a hot dog stand that he runs at the beach. He is on Second Street and stays there throughout the day selling sodas and dogs. He says that it gets kind of slow sometimes, but at other times he does really well. The beach is usually pretty crowded at this time of year and I am sure that he will do well in the end.

I thought that he may need a hand from time to time and offered to have my daughter run it when she is available. He was excited about the idea and we let her work it this weekend. She made money for him and for herself as well. She also had the bright idea to put out a tip jar and picked up some extra like that. I am glad to know that my daughter is such a wise business person!

Since the kids are out of school and on summer vacation, I thought it would be a great time for the family to get away. We’ve all had a long winter and could use a break. I was wondering where a good place to go was and I asked the family for their input. You can’t always expect that kind of service. I’m glad that the whole family agreed on going to the same place. This way, everyone is sure to have a good time and be able to do the things they want. I’m glad to have an option like that!
