I recently heard about a website called Google earth. I downloaded the free version which didn’t take too long and started to check it out. It took only a little while for me to figure out how it works and I really liked what I’d seen. The site allows you to view any place on earth from a satellites perspective. That is to say that you get the view from above.
I was able to look at my neighborhood and see how it’s laid out. It’s really cool. The next thing I found was what’s called the street level view. This allows you a 360 degree view of whatever place you pick! I saw my car in my driveway and thought it was very cool. There are a lot of other features which I haven’t had time to try yet, but I’m sure that I’m onto a good thing. I’ll let you know how it goes and you might want to check it out yourself!

Today’s celebration of Memorial Day has a special meaning for me. As a former service member I realize the sacrifices me fellow Americans have made in service to their country. I sincerely hope that all Americans will take a minute to reflect on those who have gone before us providing the freedoms we enjoy. The men and women of our nation’s defense forces have served us all in a professional and selfless manner.
I am proud of our country and the rights and privileges its citizens enjoy. We must all remember that these things were paid for with the lives of many. I am proud to hang the stars and stripes in front of our house. I hope that all Americans will do so as well!

It’s a shame that only celebrate Mothers’ day once a year. I know that many people before me have claimed that Mothers’ day is everyday! I believe that’s true. It is nice to dedicate at least one day all to her, and today is that day! I want to tell my Mom how much I love her and that I’ll always appreciate all that she has done for me.
I know that I put my Mom through some tough times. The amazing part is that no matter what I do, she still loves me unconditionally. Thanks Mom!! I want to say thanks once again to my Mom for loving Me. I hope that I can return half of the love that you have shown me. I hope you enjoy this wonderful holiday dedicated to you! Love you Mom!!
