Well I got a job to start tomorrow.  Someone called me wanting a wall torn out and replaces with an archway going from their dining room to their living room.  They really wanted the whole wall taken out if possible but it is a weight baring wall and wasn’t possible.  So I told them that I could take most of the wall out in the middle, put an archway in it and leave about a quarter of the wall on each side of the archway.  They were happy with that.

I’ve got all of the materials since they called on Friday and I was able to price the job and check it out before I had to go to my part time job.  That new job is going to take a couple of days to complete and I think they’re going to want flooring too once I finish the wall.  They are just about going to have to have more flooring because of removing part of the wall.  It might turn into a pretty good job for me in the end.  I sure hope it does anyway.

Man we got about 5 inches of snow Sunday night and it put a stop to a lot of things.  No school for 2 days and then a 2 hour delay for Wednesday.  There was a major pile up on the interstate not too far from here that even made news on Good Morning America.  There was about a 4 mile back up I believe it was to the south and a couple mile backup to the north.  A truck jackknifed and put everything to a halt.  People were running out of gas because of having to sit on the highway so long.  The Red Cross had to come out and get some of the people and take them to a shelter until they got the highway open and then tow trucks had to bring gas out to the cars that ran out of gas.  It was a mess and a half.  Now get this, the weather is calling for it to be in the 70’s this weekend.  Go figure!!!
