That job turned out great but man was it a job and a half. They had wood paneling in their dining room and trying to find some to match it was a job and a half in itself. I told them that if they wanted to do chair railing on the walls, I could do that with wainscoting over the paneling and then add sheet rock over the paneling and paint it. It worked too because now I have that to do too. It’s going to look a lot better than what they were going to do before I suggested that.
They wanted me to be real easy taking the paneling down off of the wall that I was cutting out so they could use it to fill in on the part of the wall that I had to build. I knew it wasn’t going to work very well but was willing to try and satisfy them. I’m glad they took my suggestion because it’s the easier way, more work but easier work and I’ll make more money too. So all in all, I have had a good week.

Well I got lucky and found a part-time evening job. It’s working at a convenience store but it’s only 3 days a week. Of course I got the night shift but that’s okay too. If I get a job of my own to do, I can schedule it around this job. Usually I get stuck working Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights since no one else really wants to work then but I don’t care.
I don’t have a woman in my life so I don’t have to listen to anyone complain about me not being there then. I can see why a woman wouldn’ t want her husband working nights like that and leaving here alone but one thing I can tell you, my foster mother wasn’t like that. She wasn’t afraid of anything and pretty much still isn’t. My foster sister either but they are not typical women either, that’s for sure in more ways than one.

Well they delivered my new business cards today and they look great. I am very pleased with their work. The cards are not real thin and flimsy like a lot of them you get at a discount rate. They look like I spent a lot of money on them but I didn’t. That’s the best part.
I have gone around to a lot of places that will let you put your business cards up to try and drum up business like laundry mats, and small local hardware stores. I hope they bring in some business for me. I’m not finished with the jobs I have already but it’s nice to have stuff lined up for a couple weeks ahead.
