Sometimes I get lucky and someone wants a room remodeled for a Christmas present and that’s what has happened this year.  I got a call yesterday and this couple wants their bathroom, and laundry room remodeled.  See they have a small two bedroom house with only one bathroom.  They need two bathrooms since there are three of them living there.

They have a laundry room and they want it turned into a half bath and laundry room combination.  It’s not that big of a job either.  All I have to do is move the water heater into the hall pantry which is about 10 feet from where it sits now in the laundry room.  This opens up some more room in the laundry room for a small vanity sink and a toilet.

They want wainscoting put on the walls in both the main bathroom and the new laundry/bathroom.  I do have to move the dryer to where the water heater was to open up more space.  The whole job will take me about 3 days tops.  Oh they want ceramic tile on the floor too. The border they have picked out for the main bathroom has outhouses on it.  It’s going on the top of the wall not on the top of the wainscoting like in the other room.

Get this, the man of the house is a big time fisherman and they have a boat shelve to go behind the toilet, fishing border to go on top of the wainscoting in the new bathroom and other fishing stuff for the walls.  I think it’s going to look too cool.  I can’t wait to see it when it’s finished either.  I’m pretty good at picturing in my head what something is going to look like and this is going to look great.
